About Me
Hi, I’m Angel Wang, a research-driven UX Designer with a Master’s degree in UX Research & Design from the University of Michigan and 2+ years of experience designing and evaluating digital products across B2B, B2C, and in-vehicle systems.
I focus on understanding user needs, behaviors, and constraints, then translating research insights into clear design decisions. My work spans user interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and iterative prototyping, with an emphasis on trust, learnability, and accessibility in complex systems.
At TomTom, I supported UX research and design for in-car navigation systems, contributing to research synthesis, concept validation, and usability evaluation to improve driving safety and system clarity. At Udentity, I led the end-to-end UX process for 9 global virtual education fairs, conducting research with international students and translating findings into improved information architecture and user flows used by thousands of users worldwide.
With lived experience across the U.S., China, and Singapore, I bring a cross-cultural research lens to my work and am especially interested in AI-supported, learning-oriented, and accessibility-focused products that help people make confident decisions in uncertain contexts.
Outside of work, I enjoy reflective solo walks, cross-cultural storytelling, and experimenting with tools that support structured thinking and insight discovery.
